Creepy Smile

I made this using Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 and Wacom Intuos Graphics Tablet.

The reason for making this is it will be used in my final major project animation as part of the nightmare scenes. What I learnt from doing this is how to rotoscope facial expressions effectively.

This animation reflects the negative thought of getting old or losing your looks. Many people have nightmares that contain these ideas.

Creepy Smile Reference

I used this short clip I filmed as reference for the creepy smile, it made it easier to rotoscope having this to look at.

Skeleton Lady

I made this using Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 and Wacom Intous Graphics Tablet.

The reason for making this is it will be used in my final major project animation as part of the nightmare scenes. Doing this helped me learn what lines to pick within the rotoscope to make it most effective.

This animation reflects the thought that many people have of getting older.

Floating Hands

I made this using Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 and Wacom Intous Graphics Tablet.
I made this animation for my horror nightmare project because:

• the change of the hands evokes confusion and fear over what the being is/the fact that it appears to not be human
• the long nails evoke a sense of horror - cutting, slicing - violence
